FILIPINO CHINESE (FILCHI) AMATEUR ATHLETIC FEDERATION (cycling) hosted a round of picture taking ceremony for the winners of KARRERA SA LUNETA *race in luneta" at the FILCHI FEDERATION headquarters in San Nicholas Binondo MAnila 5pm Last nite 7-16-09. The top 5 podium winners were all invited...Its so wonderful that the Federation take steps honor the athletes then give a wonderful dinner afterwards. WELL DONE Filchicycling Federation!

The reception was held at the new UNO chinese restaurant along old ESCOLTA...the dinner consist of long live noodles with shrimps..frog legs deep fried in batter...oysters..braised beef and dessert was large servings of beautifully bakes chicken pie! all the winners were so happy but cautious..."everybody train tomorrow burn the fat off..tonite we have a wonderful meal" i heard somebody say and everybody laughs!



Why am i posting this ceremonial picture taking and ceremonial dinner? because i think the organisers of the very big races in manila can learn a thing or two from Filchi Federation...Cycling is a serious and can sometimes be a violent sport..To promote camaraderie the organizers need take hint from the sports associations. Have a foto and dinner after the bike race so that everybody can be friends.
