> There will be three (3) classifications that consider; distance

> capabilities of the participants. Class A for Advanced riders,

> B for Intermediate riders and Class C for Novice men and Women

> Class) riders. Participants will be assembled before the START
line
> according to their Classification in the following order; CLASS C
in
> front, CLASS B in the middle and CLASS A at the back. Race
officials
> will be in front of each CLASS. Each CLASS will be color and
number
> coded. The entire race column will be sent off at a controlled

> The ACTUAL START off each CLASS will be signaled by the respective
> Race Director along the Route.

> I. Objectives:

> To promote domestic and international tourism objectives
> specifically the merits of the SCTEX.
> To promote the sport of cycling through well organized competitive

> To promote fellowship among bicycling enthusiasts through friendly

> II. General Description of 3 Races in 1: Mass Start Road Race
>
> 1. Class C: Novice Men & Women (Open Class). Distance 80+ kms.
>
> Parade Start: Clark Freeport, Pampanga / Expressway adjacent to
OMNI
> Grounds.
>
> Race Starts approximately after 3 kilometers. Direction to Tarlac
> City and BACK to Clark Freeport.
>
> Finish: Clark Freeport, Pampanga / Expressway adjacent to OMNI
> Grounds
>
> (Opposite lane of Expressway).
>
> 2. Class B: Intermediate. Distance 120+ kms.
>
> Parade Start: Clark Freeport, Pampanga / Along Expressway adjacent
> to OMNI Grounds. Direction to Tarlac City. EXIT MABALACAT
> INTERCHANGE and BACK to SCTEX Direction SUBIC for the Actual
Start.
> Straight On along the SCTEX. TURNAROUND in SUBIC and BACK to Clark
> Freeport

> (Finish on same lane as START along Expressway).

> 3. Class A: Advanced. Distance 150+ kms.
>
> Parade Start: Clark Freeport, Pampanga / Along Expressway adjacent
> to OMNI Grounds. Direction to Tarlac City. EXIT CONCEPCION
> INTERCHANGE and BACK TO SCTEX for ACTUAL START of Race. Straight
On
> Direction SUBIC. TURNAROUND in SUBIC and BACK to Clark Freeport
> (Finish on same lane as START along Expressway).

> III. GENERAL RULE:

> This race will be run following UCI (International Cycling Union/
> Union Cycliste Internationale) Regulations covering Mass Start

> IV. SPECIFIC REGULATIONS/ RULES:
>
> Registration Fees and Inclusions:
> Individual Registration fee per race is P300.
> This registration fee will include; race/body numbers w/ pins,
> eligibility for raffle prizes and other sponsor giveaways.
> Registration/ General Rules:
> Any rider misrepresenting or falsifying their application will be
> subject to disqualification.
> Riders must be ready to provide proof of identity, age and
> classification upon demand by the race officials.
> The registration period will expire 30 minutes before start of
race.
> Safety Regulations:
> All competitors must wear a safety helmet. No helmet no permit to
> race.
> All competitors must be medically fit to compete as stated in the
> Waiver and Quit Claim form they signed.
> Competitors riding dangerously and who pose a threat to the safety
> of other riders will be penalized or eliminated from the race as
> determined by the referees/ commissaries and judges.
> Competitiveness and Fair Play - All riders are expected to follow
> the principles of fair play and sportsmanship. Violations to this
> general rule will be subject to disqualification.
> Bicycle Regulations - Road racing Bikes - the basic design will be
> allowed as stated in UCI regulations for Mass Start Road Races.
> Support Vehicles/Crew:
> All support vehicles MUST be registered with the Organizers before
> the race for proper identification and instruction.
> Feeding, the handing of drinks and other material and servicing of
> riders is only allowed at the back of the peloton or respective
> group.
> Must always obey the instructions given by Race Officials.
> Breakdown:
> Mechanical breakdowns (ex. flats) - the rider has to proceed to
the
> safe side of the road to be serviced by their own support crew.
> If a rider cannot continue, the Support and Gear (SAG) vehicle may
> be used.
> Classifications :
> General Rule - the winner and subsequent places will be determined
> by their Order of Finish.
> Prizes/ Awards will be given for 1st - 3rd Places in every Class.
> V. PRIZES:

> 1st - Trophy + P4,000.00 Cash
>
> 2nd - Trophy + P2,000.00 Cash
>
> 3rd - Trophy + P1,000.00 Cash
