dear friends,
there were three, not two rocka training rides yesterday one with tiboy reyes and lizton yao that took place in bugarin .....the other one was done by dennis datu and omar martinez...but i dont have their reports yet.
the matabungkay training ride...that one i havent uploaded the pictures yet because 8:20 am today i have 3 customers buying bikes and bikeparts...but yes there were 5 of us and that pushed through too.
anyway bike already sold...so i now have time for the report....hehehe
carlos tan fetched me yesterday around 530 from my makati condo then we met up with george and allan and boss winston at Serendra near Bonifacio High Street Fort Boni... where the Ford SUV of winston was waiting for us for the drive up to McDonalds near Taal Vista Lodge Tagaytay City
from there we dismounted our bikes then rode down Nasugbu..turn left towards Tuy and Calatagan and began training for the Matabungkay Race route. We saw some teams but maybe better if we dont tell which teams was also on training after all thats their secret training ride.
we rode 100 kilometers before we call it quits. We had a beautiful lunch at LESLIES restaurant and after lunch and story telling we had our photo taken with the TAAL VOLCANO on the background. Overall it was a fun training ride with plenty of story telling and laughing.
winston brought his superbike Pinarello Prince Carbon and of course i had asked winston if i can post the photo of that bike here and he said yes.
thanks so much for reading the post. we look forward for you to join us in matabungkay. if you guys cant ride your bike..bring swimming trunks .....either way we will have good clean fun in matabungkay.

there were many speed bumps found along the race route..i think so long as we cyclists go over this speed bumps there should be no problem..(avoiding bumps by swerving is a dangerous maneuver and could result in spills) thats george and carlos crossing the bumps me im the one following them at the back with camera on one hand and the FORD SUV behind me...

there he goes again..the roads are ultra smooth and so carlos tan mounts another attack...
carlos tan was today's ANIMATOR SUPREME always on the attack.....here he is i took his foto after i bridge my gap to him. MArgie was absent today so i was the one taking the fotos of this ride on board my bike using my nokia celfone camera...
i took a foto of the starting line of the TSI tour of matabungkay on my bike...thats the road leading to matabungkay beach resort

lunch for this group of cyclists was at leslie's restaurant in tagaytay where we had this beautiful view of TAAL VOLCANO...the smallest volcano in the world
the restroom at leslies ...carlos tan tinkers with the ancient hand operated faucet...
