Philippine Cycling:Cycle Racing WERWEREN in Mangaldan Pangasinan

this was sometimes in Feb 2006...we were invited to field in 10 rocka1bikeshop riders to join WERWEREN 2006 which was a one day criterium race held in Mangaldan Pangasinan upon invitation of dr Butch Ydia son of the former Dagupan Mayor who is the kingpin and cycling advocate of Dagupan. sometimes it isnt really about winning a bike race...my team had the great pleasure of racing with the best riders of Pangasinan and losing...inspite of this we had great fun as we were treated to free accomodations at hospital suite at the Nazareth General Hospital owned by dr Butch ydia and we were treated to sumptuous dinner at Matutina's in Dagupan. Matutina's is where Philippine President Gloria Arroyo stops by to have dinner when she is in Dagupan
