Franzia Wines Cycling team decides to go to Tacloban to go as local tourists and support filchi riders eduard chu and jojo yu team FRANZIA LEYTE who had just in time...ordered a set of FRANZIA LEYTE JERSEYS WITH SILHOUETTE OF Douglas McArthur memorial and SAN JUANICO bridge connecting samar and leyte...to remember our tourist ride destinations..here in TACLOBAN... have to thank the only lady and beautiful lady who was able to hang on to our blistering pace of the Franzia Boss with 3 franzia riders..one cebu cycling lady who was doing the pacemaking at times..miss mae...thanks so much for riding with us.. me i have not ridden in 2 months due to work..as i had jobsites to attend to..was thinking of not racing at all....however my team Franzia Leyte people had extended the invitation so training or no training we have to support...they say "you can do a training day ride only..should be ok boss ray" so i did a 40kms ride in Tacloban to San Juanico to McArthur park with the Franzia VIP boys the night before (3-7pm)...and then me and my boss...Franzia team owner Lucio (he lacks training also as he been on out of the country trips he too will make this race a training ride.. we decide we just stayed with the beautiful girl.... together with her as long as we can..)  DONDIE AZARCON EXTRAORDINARY as he too had trips to china bringing his bike wth him...(maybe to buy secret chinese medicine also) but he did very well..congrats dondie...cebu cycling atty jong and doc JV..look how big those guys are and they finish strongly FANTASTIC RESULTS as well... our expectation is to do 60kms of the 70kms race...we did 90% of the tough race...its OK! thanks so much to Virna and Rex Tan (congrats for your 5th PLACE) thanks for picking me up and bringing me to your birthday celebration....congrats PLDT TEAM and DONDIE AZARCON..get well soon doc butch. thanks so much to team FRANZIA LEYTE jojo yu and wife jean...beautiful FRANZIA LEYTE jersey...thanks to edwin mansueto and wife cris..thanks to big boss eduard chu and wife arlene also for hosting team FRANZIA in tacloban 2 days before the bike race in ORMOC...wow you guys are the best.  the event ...I have to thank the organizers ORMOC MEDICAL SOCIETY..doc jaime gatchalian...wow..make it two days next time...ill bring in more manila people....we had great time...the route is OK....the awarding ceremony ...FANTASTIC with raffles of mountain bikes...and a WIDE SCREEN PROJECTOR SHOWING highlights of the day...finish line EXTEND IT NEAR THE LAKE...im sure the view will be worth it. SAN JUANICO 2kms long steel bridge in TACLOBAN LEYTE..itenerary shown on Franzia LEYTE's new jersey..was oh so beautiful too...  with my beautiful and sexy date on top SAN JUANICO BRIDGE longest steel bridge in the Philippines 2kms..connecting the island of TACLOBAN and SAMAR in the Philippines  raymond see with businessman alex borras of team pldt dagupan at the starting line in ORMOC LEYTE  more pldt riders from manila in ORMOC  race proper wow bennis caw did very very well  race proper..thats Lucio Cochanco Jr team owner of Franzia in Ormoc Leyte  Franzia owner being followed by miss mae  jojo yu and edwin mansueto of Franzia  pinpin uy was in the main pack of 6 lead riders when his campy rear derailleur exploded....  with our champion 2nd place winner for cat B just behind ART LAMBO of team Leo...EDUARD tsunami CHU crossing the finish..photo by margie see..CONGRATS EDUARD!  filchi eduard chu of FRANZIA LEYTE 2nd place win in ORMOC LEYTE  detail of eduard chu's medal won in ORMOC..was a fantastic win for eduard..that was a very very difficult race  VICTORY PARTY courtesy of filchi Eduard Chu..in his house..after the race...    | ||||
